Leaders
& members of the National Garment Workers Federation (NGWF) celebrated its
32nd Founding Anniversary with a vow to establish
labour rights, including improvement of living standard of garment workers in
Bangladesh.
The
vow was taken at the concluding ceremony of the NGWF founding anniversary that
was held at the seminar hall of the Institute of Engineers in Dhaka city on
July 29, 2016. A senior Minister of the government, who participated at the
ceremony as Chief Guest, also expressed support to the NGWF’s demands. The NGWF
was founded on July 22 in 1984.
